hike in oil prices again?

We've seen it coming. We've gone through this before and now we have to go through this again. The prices of oil products just never seem to depreciate. Oil is the blood to the world's economy and we know it. We know if the price skyrockets, inflations are bound to increase exponentially. So what's the government doing to balance this?

They said, the subsidy on petrol products must be reduced so that the money could be channeled into better use. While I do exert a great deal of belief that we need a substantial budget for development judging from our hungry appetite for world class architectures, world class infrastructures, world class transportation - basically an appetite to be a world class country.

Pragmatically, I like that. Everything lavish, cool, sleek and humongous. Who would say no to that? But if such ambitious dreams were to be fed using the public's taxes, then it had better be fucking good. Not just constructing a larger than life stadium and leave it stenched with urine and wastes after a world class event. It can't be said if there are unaccountables going around, but if the deaf and mute can feel that there are hanky-pankies, it could have been a bit too obvious to neglect.

Show us real developments, real standards and not just babbling of words spitted out along with sparkling saliva. Debate only serious issues during sessions. Not debates on how an air hostess should be wrapped in burqa instead of kebaya with high slit. Not like she's your daughter. Show us why are some people driving cars that their legs couldn't even reach the pedals. Why are some people able to spend off millions of pound in exclusive London casinos and are still gleefully returning home. There are so much to reveal, so much to relay and the people are often left in the puddle running low on patience.

Raise the people's wages if you want to shut mouths up. Else, continue the subsidy and don't leave a damn trail of your lovely deeds.

It could have been bigotry from my perspectives but I just don't give a damn now. Gotta fill my tank now.
