The Prayer
Grew up lacking a pillar,
Grown up unlike a tower,
Knowing just this much I could handle,
So, please don't draw me like a doodle.
The tulips bloom over the field,
and the meadow's green made me yield,
All I'm seeking is a better living,
can't you just grant me this scene?
Quality is what maketh the man,
Ostracized was I, the alice in wonderland,
why should I follow your steps,
when I just don't see the grasp?
When storm blows, and waves hit,
Mangrove plants just don't give a shit,
I'll make it, my lips could only pray,
All I dream is just a breakaway.
"Dreams achieved!" hits the headlines,
These people made it through no easy,
Shall I bid you a glass of champagne,
To show you, without you, life's just the same.
